Educational Services
The mission of River Delta Unified Education Services is to lead and support the development, implementation and evaluation of a broad range of educational programs and services designed to enable the River Delta Unified School District to realize its learning vision.
The Education Services and Schools Division oversees and supervises program implementation and fiscal support of all education support programs provided through each of its departments:

Catalyst Kids Expanded Learning
When the school day ends, the possibilities are endless.
Available for children from TK through eighth grade, Catalyst ExpandEd Learning programs are located on school campuses within the River Delta Unified School District. These programs are offered before and after school and during non-school days. Catalyst ExpandEd Learning focuses on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of children through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. Programs are pupil-centered, results driven, and complement (but do not replicate) the school day.
Catalyst ExpandEd Learning at a Glance
· Extends the school day to 9 hours
· Includes an educational, literacy, and enrichment element
· Operates for 180 school days / 30 intersession days
· Meets instructor to student ratios:
o 1:10 for TK and kindergarten students
o 1:20 for 1st-8th grade students
· Meets California’s Programmatic Quality Standards
· Meets California’s Point-of-Service Quality Standards
o We ensure a safe and supportive environment
o Our curriculum supports active and engaged Learning
o Our activities promote skill building
o Our staff foster youth voice and leadership
o We reinforce healthy choices and behaviors

MISSION
The River Delta Unified District Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department is dedicated to ensuring that students are provided with high-quality Career and Technical Education by integrating rigorous classroom instruction with current, work-based learning experiences that motivate, guide, and empower our students for post-secondary education and careers. The RDUSD CTE Programs will educate and inspire students to be successful citizens, workers, and leaders in the workplace.
