When the school day ends, the possibilities are endless.
Available for children from TK through eighth grade, Catalyst ExpandEd Learning programs are located on school campuses within the River Delta Unified School District. These programs are offered before and after school and during non-school days. Catalyst ExpandEd Learning focuses on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of children through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. Programs are pupil-centered, results driven, and complement (but do not replicate) the school day.
All sites provide:
- A nutritional daily snack
- Homework assistance
- Literacy support
- Tutoring to help students meet state standards in one or more of the core academic subjects
- Enrichment activities such as music, band, art, and dance
- Physical activities including games and sports.
